What is the best matching of the flat plate vulcanizer?

For a 50-ton flat plate, if its size is 500mmX500mm and its thickness is 60mm, then its best use area should be the central part of 380mm. As we all know, the temperature of the edges of the flat plate is the most unstable and the parallelism is relatively poor. How do we choose? The actual calculation method is 500mm minus the thickness of the four surrounding hot plates of 60mm equals 380mm. The temperature uniformity and parallelism of the flat plate in this center are the best.

Equipment heating method: There were three heating methods for flat plates in the past, electric heating, steam heating, and oil heating. With the continuous improvement of environmental protection requirements, steam heating is now gradually withdrawn from use. From the current actual use situation, the electric heating method has the worst temperature uniformity. On a 500mm flat plate, the temperature difference is generally ±2.5°; the steam heating method is better than the electric heating method. On a 500mm flat plate, the temperature difference is generally ±1°. The oil heating method is the best, and the temperature difference is generally ±05° on a 500mm flat plate. Of course, the temperature difference of these heating methods has a lot to do with the control proportional valve (meter). It is okay to use low-power oil heating. If it exceeds 100 kilowatts, it belongs to the category of boiler pressure vessels and needs to be reported to the Safety Supervision Bureau for installation. Electric heating is more convenient, so there are advantages and disadvantages. However, from the perspective of long-term total cost calculation and considering the quality of the product, it is recommended to use oil heaters for heating, especially large and extra-large equipment should consider using oil heating.

So what about the temperature measurement part? We have said before that if its plate size is 500mm×500mm and the thickness is 60mm, then its best use area should be the center of 380mm, so our temperature measurement part is the best use area (center part).

If the requirements are high, you can also heat it at 50℃, 100℃, 150℃, etc. to re-test the temperature of the plate to see the temperature uniformity.

Plate parallelism detection method: No matter how large the plate you use is, we take the best use area (center part) for detection. Take a soft lead strip (originally a kind of fuse), preferably hollow, cut into small sections of about 15-20mm long, and place them evenly on the tested part. According to the size of the plate, it is generally nine points or more points. Set the pressure to 50 kg, and manually close the mold until the plate is closed (based on the soft lead strip). After five minutes, open the mold, take out the soft lead sheet and test it.

If the requirements are high, you can also heat it to 50℃, 100℃, 150℃, etc. to test the parallelism of the plate. If the quality is not enough, some equipment manufacturers may never do this kind of test. )
